Dr. Horton graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She officially joined the West Rome Animal Clinic team in 2020 after providing veterinary relief services for our hospital. Dr. Horton’s outgoing personality made her a great fit during our search for a fourth veterinarian. Dr. Horton loves to perform surgery, both soft-tissue, and orthopedic. Her favorite pets to work with are SharPei, Boxers, and cats.
Dr. Horton has two SharPei named Bianca and Phoebe.
Outside the office, Dr. Horton enjoys traveling, kayaking, and cooking. Luckily, we often get to enjoy the benefits of her cooking hobby!
