Dr. Amber Coffman, DVM

Veterinarian

Prior to vet school, Dr. Coffman worked at West Rome Animal Clinic throughout her undergraduate program at Berry College. She graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and rejoined the West Rome Animal Clinic team as our third veterinarian. For almost 10 years, Dr. Coffman has been bringing her enthusiasm for pain management, surgery, dentistry, and dermatology to our clientele and patients. She enjoys working with Pitbulls, Border Collies, Chinese Cresteds, and cats (especially the hairless ones.) Dr. Coffman has a Border Collie and a Chinese Crested of her own, named Rogue and Kuzco.

Dr. Coffman has been voted “Best Veterinarian” several times by the Rome community – as recently as 2021!

Dr. Coffman became Medical Director in May of 2023.

In her spare time, she enjoys dock diving competitions with her Border Collie, fishing with her husband, spending quality time with her two daughters, reading, and attending concerts with friends and family.
