Dr. Danielle MacStudy
Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Danielle MacStudy grew up in Towaco where she attended school and grew up playing sports. After earning her BS degree in Biology and Small Animal Science from Virginia Tech, she then went on and pursued her veterinary degree at St. George’s University in Grenada. Dr. MacStudy did her clinical studies at University of Tennessee and graduated in February 2024.
Prior to vet school, Dr. MacStudy grew up volunteering in the local shelter and working as a vet assistant/tech. Having adopted her dog Monty from the local animal shelter during her first semester of vet school, Dr. MacStudy decided to return to Grenada during her clinical year as an extern and give back to the island’s shelter/clinic! Dr. MacStudy also adopted a calico cat named Marble from Grenada. In her free time, Dr. MacStudy loves to go hiking with Monty and exploring local places with him, scuba diving, and baking sweet treats.
Dr. MacStudy’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is the client/ doctor relationship that you build and can last a lifetime. During her training, Dr. MacStudy was also Fear Free certified which enables her to build the client relationship she loves to have! Some of her special interests in veterinary medicine include oncology, soft tissue surgery, and small animal reproduction!
